On the third Sunday of each month, weather permitting, SCVRC hosts
smallbore practice at the Santa Clara County Field Sports Park
(SCCFSP). While this practice is directed towards juniors, everyone
is invited to participate. The purpose of these events is to develop
skills in outdoor smallbore (.22 long rifle) position (prone,
kneeling, and offhand) target shooting. With advance notice, some
equipment (rifles, scopes, shooting mats, etc.) is available.
